FT/FS-Dingwall Super J5

I picked this up a couple of months ago in trade and am considering trading it for either a Sadowsky NYC Vintage JJ5 or PJ5 or a NYC Vintage 4 with Rosewood board or Alleva Coppolo LG 4 Or possibly a Vintage Fender Jazz.It is in near mint condition with 3 pick guards and is Natural finish with Swamp ash Body chambered with Northern Ash Top.Maple neck with White Pearl blocks.Already routed for P5 Neck PUP.Pics borrowed from previous owner.A bass equipt like this now would list for over 5200.Can add cash difference to make up any difference to even out trades. Now for sale also would like to get 2900.

How much would you want if you sold it straight (no trade)?

I'll be home from my contract in 34 days. Hopefully this will still be around!

I have a '78 Jazz Bass, translucent wine with a maple neck, RW finger board that is bound and blocked. The bass is in excellent condition, and comes with original bridge and pickup covers, and thumb rest. Would this be something you might be interested in?

Would you be interested in a Custom Shop 5 String? It's posted under my profile.

How does it play with those slanted frets? Just curious.

Plays easier than a standard fretted bass.Frets are in natural fretting hand position. As your playing it you don,t even see the slanted frets.

I was skeptical of slanted frets until I played a Dingwall. The adjustment took less than a minute. I don't think I'd want a fretless Dingwall, but you really don't notice the slanted frets especially in the "money" frets.
