FT/FS EB Musicman SR5 HH 2 Attachment(s) I've owned this SR5 for a few years now, and it's a great bass. It gets a wide range of sounds, has a great B string, and plays great. Personally I love the necks on Musicman 5 strings. That being said, I can't get my most desired tones from it. I've been listening to all kinds of thrash metal, NWOBM, early metal, and classic rock lately, and there's only one style of bass I can think of that can nail all those tones: the mighty PJ. So that's what I'm looking for. A PJ. Four or five string, either is fine. Ideally I'm looking for a recent American Deluxe P as I've played a few, and I know what kind of tones I can get out of them with my Streamliner. I'm open to other options too though. Specifically, Jackson PJs get me a little excited too. Depending on the trade, money details can also be worked out. I will also consider a cash sale. Price will be $1050 plus shipping. Hard case included. |
Cash price? |
PMs replied. I didn't much thought to cash price. Once I've figured that out, I'll update the first post. |
In line for cash sale! |
Oh yeah, what's the weight on this? |
Trade for a Spector Euro 5 plus cash? Has the gnarliest, grindiest thrash metal tone |
Hey folks. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Between full-time school and full-time hours at work this week I've become sidetracked. As of yet I don't know the weight. Unfortunately I don't have a scale at home. Oliveros, as much as I know Spector basses rule, I'd rather stick with a model of bass I've had experience with. So that's a no go on the Euro. Thanks for the offer. Opening post has been updated with a cash price. |
Pm sent. I want it |
PMs replied. I forgot I mention that this bass also comes with an Ernie Ball hard case. |
