FT Feeler - Fretless Jazz

Just seeing what's out there. GAS always has a strong hold on me and I'm wondering what else is out there. Up for trade is a Franken Jazz. It's comprised of the following parts...

2000 - MIM Midnight wine body w/black pickguard
EMG pickups
Allparts lined Fretless neck

It plays and sounds fantastic. I'm going back to my P roots, so I figured I'd hang this one out there and see what anyone might have to trade.

Pics should be up by tomorrow night.

Alright here are the pics. I tried to detail every feature and flaw.

Here's the headstock complete with 70s Jazz logo (it was there when I got the neck and frankly it looks darn nice) This IS an Allparts neck.

Here's a shot from the front. Sorry, it's a cell pic.

Vintage style saddles. I really dig them.

The obligatory shot down the neck.

Here's a scuff. I think it could be buffed out. I never tried mostly because I didn't care about it.

Here's a slight mishap when someone put the tuners in. Looks like the bit actually bit the edge of the hole. If the bushing was pushed all the way in it would be unnoticeable.

There are a couple of other small dings and a couple of light scratches on the back. I couldn't get a good shot of them with the camera. Overall it is in moderately gigged condition for a 12 year old instrument. It certainly isn't beaten up.

Also this guy...

told me the bass is approved for metal.

This guy...

told me the bass is approved for polka.

Here are a few things I really like:

P basses
Something completely different - I've been playing mostly Fenders for the past decade.

Thanks. Strangely enough both of those pictures were already on my computer. Go figure.

I'd also be interested in splitting this up. Mostly the neck for an unlined fretless or fretted neck, but I would trade the body for a P body.

Man I need to make some more e-pals here. I too would like to see the similar commentary that appears on many of these threads.

I put the neck in it's own trade thread here.

Traded the neck locally. I'm keeping the rest of it.
