Title says it. I really dig the G&L....just jonesin for a simpler but passive tone rich bass.

I'm open to suggestions.

I'll post pics in a bit. In the meantime PM me if you're interested.

Some more pics...the orange in the pic is the crappy fluorescent lights. I have the original chrome knobs...just put these on so I could see what the setting was...I'm old and blind...lol.

The G&L is kind of 'complex' in the sense that it has so many switching options, but as long as you can dial in a sound you like why not just leave it switched that way and continue diggin' it? I'm not trying to talk you out of trading it, I'm just sayin'.

Also, any particular reason you don't want to 'trade' the bass for cash?

Well I just feel if I'm going to leave on one or so setting to get a simpler yet tone cool bass. I like all the sounds....I just don't fiddle faddle witht hem...i think I'm more of a passive person.

Well after some thought and some suggestions...I'm going to keep the G&L and do the single coil mods. Should make it even more fun.

Thank you for the interest guys.
