Trade wise I'm looking for a Warwick Dolphin Pro1 4 strings, long shot I know, but I figure I would try to put an end to the GAS of the moment and given there's no cash around.... I might regret this and if I come to sense soon I will pull the thread off. If you offer me other basses, there are 99% of chances that will be refused, amps or cabs 100%. Trade value $2000.
Description + video + pics:
This is a vintage gem, a Jaydee Series II Session.
Not your common JD as includes a few upgrades, this bass was built for a friend in early '80s by master luthier John Diggins in UK, a great example of how a JD should play and sound, it has THAT sound that made Mark King and the bass itself famous in those Level 42 early days.
It ha a mahogany body with walnut top and back laminations, neck is a sandwich of mahogany, maple and walnut, fretboard is ebony with the classic mother of pearl Saturn inlays, brass hardware with Schaller tuners. The headstock has a walnut lamination with binding and also MOP JD logo to make it fancy.
Electronic consist of master volume and tone, p/up selector, bass/mids/treble, active/passive switch, 2 coil tap switches and a 3 pin alternative input. It also has a side fiber optic feature although very weak and so almost useless unless you're really in the dark, not sure why they're so weak, never inquired to fix it as I don't care for Christmas lights

Comes with a sturdy flight case.
Here's a video made by our very own master of pink basses Mr Jaymi:
