block is a Ken Smith Black Tiger Elite 5. Not in a rush to get rid of it. I've got Pre-Gibson Tobias Gas! I've been shopping around for one, but the idea of having a 6th bass in the house is making me assess my basses on how much they get gigged. I'm at work so I'll post pics and further details up later today or tomorrow morning.
Interested in a Pre Gibson Tobias 5er, fretted. Classic or Basic.Willing to entertain deals plus cash or even for a second bass to add value to the deal. Like I said, will post pics up later, just throwing a line out for now. Not really interested in selling at this point. PM me if you are interested.

Anyone who's interested in trade offers and want to see pics already.. shoot me your Cell # and I can shoot you over the pics.
Haven't had any lines on a Tobias ( probably because I haven't put up pics.. lol ) BUT any other trade offers have to be for 34" scale or shorter. Thanks guys! |

Birthday is 02.20.2004 and the truss rod cover and the screws are in a zip lock baggie in the Smith case along with Black and Brown Smith Straps. If you want pics of the bag or any other shots PM me off the thread. |

I am the 3rd owner I (at least I think) .. the first owner was a touring musician on the Christian Circuit and the second was a producer that bought it off him. I believe in '04 the 9 volt pre and the 3/2 tuning machines were standard. |

It looks like the G string is not sitting in its place at the bridge, therefor it is not aligned with the pole pieces, right? |

| | Registered User | | | | | Lots of great basses offered up and lots of interest in a flat out sale, but I'm afraid that I'm not willing to just sell her. I LOVE this bass. The only way I'd get rid of her is to get something I love a bit more. At least that's the case for now, thanks for all the purchase offers, but I'll keep this open a little longer for a trade offer ( hopefully a Pre-Gibby Tobias, but who knows.. I might take something else that catches my eye ) |

this is my old bass..Only reason i ever sold this bass was to buy my wifes enagagement ring.. Bitter sweet moment! Its definately a player!
I recognized it from the glue fading area where the neck meets the body. I remember calling Ken about that when i first saw that...
EDIT: thought id help by throwin in a clip of this bass shining over a slap solo turnaround section. (comes in at 1:27) Man that thing plays like butter! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqxurzVKlD4
best of luck!
