This is a 2002 Ken Smith MS-5 in very good condition -- flamed maple body wings plus maple neck and morado fingerboard. Seen fairly light gigs over the years -- probably played out a few times per year, on average, for gigs where I needed the signature "Smith" tone. Very minimal wear.
What I'm looking for -- would be interested in older MTD 535s (21 preferred, but 24 OK), newer Warrior 5s, or older Smith Elite 5s or 6s + cash. In case you're wondering, I'd place the value of this Smith around $2700. Trade plus cash is an option, depending on the value of the other bass!

It's the classic neck-thru Smith tone - 34" scale, really tight lows (B string is exceptionally good), smooth mids, and modern highs (dual coil/parallel pickups). I'd add that the morado fingerboard gives it a more raw/sizzling high end vs. the more elegant/subdued ebony fretboard you'll see on other Smiths.
