FT/FEELER Modulus Q5

I have a Modulus Quantum 5 which I ordered specificially for myself, I believe in 2002. it has the graphite neck with the phenolic fingerboard. It's a quilted blue in color with gold hardware. EMG pickups with EMG electronics. 18v. preamp, volume, sweep, bass, treble (which you can open up the back cavity & there are 4 different frequencies you can set the HI's), and sweepable midrange (300-3000hz). The bass is in excellent working order, typical wear & tear other than the gold is coming off the bridge due to the oils & sweat from my hand. I play with a pick 90% of the time so I rest my palm on the bridge a lot! By looking at sales of used Q5's, I'm guessing the value of this bass to be in the $1900-$2200 range. I'm pretty open to trade offers other than it needs to be a 5 string! I prefer not to spend any money out of my pocket, but will consider with the right bass. I don't dislike the bass, in fact it's a great bass, just not my favorite sound...right now I'm favoring the Fender sound pretty strong, both P & J. This is just a feeler to see what options I may have...Thnx!!

I posted a couple pics of the Modulus & also one of the bridge. In the body close up pic, it looks like a bunch of scratches above the pickup...those aren't on the guitar so I don't know what that is?? The bass does not have a pickguard & I play mainly with a pick..so around the pickups, above them & below them are the normal surface swirls that come from that. Not are deep & I believe they can be polished out.
