Got this recently in a trade and while I love the tone, the 35" scale and the tighter string spacing is taking some getting used to, so I thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone had interest (local deals are always encouraged!)

It's a 2009 Q5 (bought new last year by previous owner), and is in like new condition...I can't find any flaws anyway, but I won't call it MINT since it is used. It has an alder body, with a Chechen board and the usual graphite neck and DOES have a trussrod. But the best part of this particular Modulus is that the previous owner had Nordstrand install Nordy pups and a Nordy pre in the bass that really give it a less modern sound if desired. The controls are stacked volume, tone w/ pull for passive, mid boost/cut with pull for frequency switch, and stacked bass/treble boost/cut. Comes with OHSC.

I put a value of about $2500 on the bass because of year, condition, & upgrades.

I'd be interested in classic style basses...sadowsky, Alleva coppolo, LEJ, etc... But feel free to offer whatever.

Pics from previous owner but condition is exactly the same:

That bass is gorgeous! I'd love to own one but can't do 35" scale.
