| FT Feeler: RARE US Custom Valley Arts Lee Sklar Double P Bass
Love this bass its my main one at the moment...just had some slight GAS lately for either a older Spector, older Zon, older Modulus or Ken Smith (by older early to mid 80's)
This is a US build Lee Sklar prototype from Valley Arts in CA. Many have seen the Gibson custom shop version, this pre-dates those and is a much better bass (I have owned both). This is from 12/30/1991 and neck is signed by Mike McGuire who was at VA then the Gibson custom shop. You can see Lee signed the headstock.
Super player, mandolin frets, medium to lighter weight with KILLER birdseye figured neck.
If no trades like I am looking for will hang onto this..definately no rush.
