Greetings all!

I'm thinking about moving my Stammie SC5.

A quick run-down:

Body shape based on Fodera Emperor II. Top and back are of Pomelle Bubinga with sapwood. Core is Black Limba. Five-piece neck consisting of maple/Chechen/Purpleheart/Chechen/Maple layers. Fingerboard is curly Chechen with MOP block inlays. Electronics are Bart P4-size soapbars with Bart preamp with coil taps and 3-way freq switch. Also includes a set of custom Aeros with matching wood covers. Black Hipshot “A” bridge with string-thru option and tuning keys. Scale length is 35” and spacing is 18mm.

At this point, I’m only looking for trades and only high-end boutique 5-string trades at that. I could go for another Stammie, Benavente, Ristola, Elrick SC5, Roscoe SKB or Century, Smith, MTD 535-24, Nordstrand SC5 (please oh please!!!), CB Bass, Ken Lawrence, Marleaux, Jerzy Drozd, ACG….well, you get the idea. Of course, cash +/- for the trade is always a possibility…and I’d consider a two-fer.

That's a sweet-looking bass and the sort of thing I'd be looking for...if I was looking at J-style instruments. I'm pretty set for J Basses so I gotta pass ATM.

Oh, and I'd also consider a Sado NYC 24-5 as a trade. Prefer one with exotic top and rosewood/ebony board, but open to all configurations.

Just heard back from Chris Stambaugh. He said new price on this one would be close to $3200.

Since he built it, it's been to Mike Lull for a tune-up and had some additional shielding added, so it's even quieter that before. Lull's also removed the Aeros (pictured) and replaced them with a set of Barts. BOTH SETS OF P/UPS INCLUDED IN SALE.

There might be a small ding or scratch somewhere, but the bass is pretty dang clean. So, I'll set my asking price for a cash sale at $2600 OBO shipped CONUS.

I'm still open to trade offers as well, so hit me up!
