FT feeler: Stingray for Bongo or vintage Precision neck.

This is my Stingray. It was built in 2000, ash body, 3-band EQ, two dings, otherwise fully working. Non-original hardcase.

I am not ready to go through life without a Music Man with the fat humbucker in the sweet spot. However, I would really like to have something with more pickup options (ideally HS) and a maple fretboard neck (not a strict requirement).

My perfect trade victim would be an orange ("tangerine pearl") HS Bongo with maple neck. I would add substantial cash for that trade. Maple neck HS Stingrays might be interesting, too.

I am also looking for a vintage Fender Precision bass neck. Refin and beaten up OK.

Free Bump for a beautiful bass. BTW That pickup is right in the sweet spot. For certain sounds/styles, nothing can touch a Stngray.

Bump. Still fishing.

I'm afraid I am pretty loaded up with Fender style basses and I don't like black basses (unless they come with figured high-gloss maple fretboards). But as I said, I could use a vintage or otherwise really cool Precision bass neck (57+ headstock style, not 51).
