Just picked up this Warwick a couple weeks ago, and it's amazing. Easily the best bass I've personally owned. It's a gem, and I'm more than happy to hang on to it, but I have been GASsing for a Streamer even more than a Thumb, so I just wanted to throw this out there to see if I can make a trade for a Streamer of some variety.
This is a 2005 Warwick Thumb Bolt-on 4 string.
-Ovankol Body
-Ovankol neck
-Wenge fretboard
-2 Mec jazz pickups
-9V active electronics
-volume (active/passive), blend, stacked treble/bass controls
-24 bell brass frets
-curved and contoured body (hugs my contours perfectly!)
-Easy access control cover (just 2 clips, no screws)
-Comes with deluxe Warwick rockbag
This bass is incredibly punchy, and a lot more versatile than I imagined. It definitely has a unique voicing that is inherent to the Thumb, but it can get fat and round quite easily. The bass is in fantastic condition. No dents or dings anywhere that I've been able to find, maybe a slight hint of buckle rash on the back (which is very difficult to see unless held to the right light). The previous owner kept this in excellent condition!
I'm only looking for Warwick Streamers to trade. Nothing else, no exceptions! I am also not looking to sell, only trade for a Streamer.
-Streamer LX
-Streamer Jazzman
-Streamer Stage I or Stage II
-Streamer $$
4- or 5- string
No 6 strings please, and no Streamer Standards (the slab body variety) or Rockbasses, as I have zero interest in those.
