FT Feeler: Wendler Electrocoustic Fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
Just putting this up to gauge interest, my playing tastes are changing a bit (always). So, I'm putting my Wendler up on the block. I acquired this in January from Chef...I'm the third owner of this bass. I've been in contact with Dave Wendler himself and has said this bass is definitely one-of-a-kind. Amazingly light, loud and a truly beautiful and sweet tone. It does include the super-padded Wendler gig bag. Here's the original thread from when I acquired it: Wendler Electrocoustic Fretless!!!

I'm looking for a EBMM Stingray, Peavey Cirrus 4 or EBMM Sub plus cash from you. If I had to put a price on it: $850 shipped.
I really love this bass...just curious to see what I can get. Thanks!

Also, might consider a nice MIA Precision, +/- cash.
Or a SVT-CL, Peavey VB-2/Traynor YBA200-2 + cash.

Tempting. I had a Wendler once. Not sure why I sold it. My EUB seems to be giving me some hand/pain issues.

Hmmm... quite a different shape than mine. (upper right) it is a sweet bass, and it's a nice price to boot ! Good luck with the sale.

This bass was a special order for a gentleman in Colorado. Probably won't find many that have the violin shape. This is a great one to have in the arsenal. I'm leaning towards just keeping it and selling my RW Jazz instead.

It's too bad the guys on the forum don't know more about the amazing Wendler basses... beautiful to play, light, very "earthy" in every respect... if others had to chance to experience them as I have (I own one) they would jump on this deal. No "growl" like a Tony Franklin, just very "round" & "warm"... I think you're nuts for selling it, there really is nothing else quite the same... good luck with the sale.

Not selling it necessarily...just seeing what I could get in trade possibly. And I agree, these are amazing.
