FT Feeler: Wenge-Necked Warmoth J-Bass. Beautiful!

Hello all,

Here we have the Jazz bass to end all Jazz basses. I received this about a month ago, and it KILLS. Beautiful to look at, and amazing tone. From what I can tell, the construction is as follows:

-Alder body w/ some sort of tobaccoburst
-Wenge neck and fingerboard
-Seymour Duncan Antiquity Jazz pickups
-Hipshot bridge
-Grover tuners

The tone is gnarly, to say the least. Thunderous lows, grinding mids, and clear highs that aren't harsh. I did all the EQ'ing on my amp, and I feel like this bass gives more output than an active G&L. Unfortunately, I find myself needing more strings and have no money with which to purchase a 5 or 6 string.

The trade list is as follows. I really like this bass, so these are the only basses I will trade for. If the right bass doesn't come up, I have no qualms whatsoever about keeping this bass. It does everything I could ever need from a 4 string and it looks classy to boot.

-Warwick 5 or 6 string (fretted or fretless) A Corvette would likely be in the right price range.
-Peavey Cirrus 5 or 6 string (fretted or fretless)
-Hollowbody/Semi-hollowbody basses

That's about it... I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I'd also consider 5 string US made Jazz basses. If I don't find what I'm looking for, I'll gladly just build a 5 string twin around tax time.

Trying to figure out what would be a reasonable trade value for this... it's gorgeous. Weight? Also, are you sure you'd not want to sell?

Trade value would be ~$900. I'd rather not sell, mainly because I don't see anything on the forums I'm dying to replace it with. If that changes, I'll update the thread.

I found a G&L L2500 that I would like, so I will let this go for $900 shipped OBO. Feel free to make an offer.

I'd really like more strings or a hollowbody bass. Bump for back on the market with updated trades.

I'm downsizing due to bills. This is now mainly for sale, $850 OBO. I bought a 2009 VW Rabbit to replace my 2005 GTI which spontaneously combusted, and my roommate just left so now I have to pay rent and bills by myself. So, no more trades unless it's an SX 5 string with a bound and blocked neck + cash on your end. Or if it's a sitar.

Bump. Looking for an acoustic bass, a Roland Juno-G, or cash.
