Gorgeous '51 re-issue that was made in Japan, not Mexico or Korea. Its serial number indicates it was manufactured in 1994... but this one is brand, spanking new. It seriously looks like it came straight from the factory. It probably has less than one hour of playing time on it. No dings, no scratches, no fret wear, nothing! Bass is professionally set up and has brand new round wound strings. The single coil pickup produces a great vintage tone that's actually very versatile.
Includes the original chrome bridge cover which was never installed.

This bass is no longer made in the vintage Butterscotch color, and if you can find one they are $1000 or more for the Crafted in Japan models. I got this bass in a trade, but while it sounds incredible and plays beautifully (the neck is really a masterpiece) I'm more comfortable with the modern P-bass so I'm looking to trade for one. What I'm looking for is an American Standard, CIJ, Road Worn or other high quality Precision with a maple fretboard. I would prefer a sunburst but will consider other colors. The maple board is a must though.
