I am reposting this, given the excessive size of the previous thread!
For trade: a Fender Custom Shop Classic Jazz Bass V in perfect condition, with G&G Tolex Case, Custom Shop certificate and little case candy bits.
This is a fully upgraded CC, with brand new Lollar Jazz pups and an Audere 3ZB - it sounds killer. The trade value of this is now around $2,000, given the new electrics - when I say new, they are 4 weeks old!
Looking for:
- Fender 4-stringers (P or J) - CS or old...
- Musicman basses - gotta be good ones, in either 4 or 5 string
...anything outside of those categories would have to be purty awesome.
Please only serious trade ideas. Thank you! |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Langhorne, PA, USA | | | A few questions, if you don't mind -- 1. How heavy is this bass?
2. What is the age of the bass? (from the S/N on the neck plate, I am guessing 2005, but not sure of that)
3. How wide is the neck at the nut?
Thanks!

The bass is a 2006 vintage. As witnessed on the CS certificate.
It weighs between 9.3 and 9.4 lbs on my electronic scale.....and it is 1.875 at the nut. |

However, I think that it may be a bit on the heavy side for me ... and I prefer a 1.75" nut width and tighter string spacing on my 5-strings.
