Me, being the GAS-prone SOB that I am, recently acquired this Fender Jazz 24 in the hopes that it might do something that that my passive jazz doesn't. Well, other than a little bit more control over tweaking the EQ (which I usually leave more-or-less flat anyway), it sounds very similar. So, GAS demands that I move it on and try something else.

3-band active EQ with slap switch.
24 frets!! (take that, other Fender jazzes!)
NEW Schaller Straplocks and DM Blue Steels (less than 2 hours played)
Here's the catch: I want something
CRAZY. Something that sounds or looks unique. I don't know what it is yet, until I see it.
I have a Valenti P-bass on the way, and a Jazz already in my stable, so I'm looking for something off the beaten path. Bounce your ideas off me, I'd love to know what you've got.
