I have two MIA Fender Jazz Deluxe Basses for trade, and one MIJ Fender Jazz bass.
The first MIA is a Tobacco Sunburst with a rosewood fingerboard ( GONE - TRADED FOR A MIA JAZZ DELUXE V). The second MIA is a Translucent Red with a maple fingerboard. <<Sell for $850>>
Both are in excellent condition and include OHSC's.
Based on the serial number's, both MIA's were made in 1997 or 1998. I bought them in 1999 and 2000. Both basses sound great even unplugged (nice tone). I've played each probably less than 30 hours. They've been sitting in their cases since 2001. I made the switch to 5 string...
The MIJ was "new old stock" when I bought it. I literally have played it less than 1 hour since I bought it. It was made in 97 or 98. I'll sell the MIJ for $700 plus all shipping and transaction costs. This bass is in near mint condition.
My target acquisition is a Modulus 5 plus cash from me. I am open to a higher-end 5 string bass too and can thrown in cash as appropriate. Or a Markbass Combo (210, Minimark, 12" or 15") plus some cash from you.

I've received many PM's - I believe I've responded to all, but if not, please resend.
I've added several pictures to the picasa album. In particular, there is a small nick on the MIA Sunburst headstock I missed earlier (the original pics show it, but don't highlight it). Second, I finally removed the tape from the TransRed Jazz and posted additional pics of it.
Here is the link again: http://picasaweb.google.com/mcintosh...eat=directlink
Latest status for each bass is:
MIA Sunburst - Looks like I have worked out a trade
MIA TransRed - I think I've worked out a sale
MIJ Sunburst - interest in purchase expressed by several TB'ers
There have been multiple questions about outright selling the basses instead of trades. My preference is to trade, but I am willing to sell them too.
The MIJ is the only one without a new home, so I'll price it. $800 plus shipping. I will weigh the MIJ today (requested) and post the weight later. It feels remarkably light...
Thanks for looking!

MIA Trans Red: Have a trade pending, but there is a dependency upon the buyer's trade... So, still available. Also, available for sale for $900.
MIA Sunburst: Ships today - traded!
MIJ Sunburst: Still available for trade. Selling price reduced to $700 (this is a mint condition "time capsule" bass)
Also, would consider trades for a Markbass 210 combo or TC Electronics 210 combo (+/- cash depending upon details)
