Looking for: Warwick (German) and Spector (Czech or US) 5 and 6 fretted and fretless. Willing to do trade + cash on either side...
Up for trade is an American 2007 Limited Edition Highway One Precision bass. It was a special run of only 100 featuring the translucent White Blonde finish (you can see the grain through the finish) and an ash body.
The White Stripes sticker can be removed or you can keep it for extra mojo!
Specs:
White Blonde Ash body (nitro)
Maple and rosewood "C" neck (9.5" radius, 20 medium/jumbo frets, Posiflex Graphite Neck Support Rods, poly)
Fender thumb rest
Hipshot HB-7 tuners
Graph Tech TUSQ nut
Fender white pearloid pickguard
Fender Original '62 P Bass pickup
Leo Quan BADASS II bridge
DR Fat Beams
It is in excellent condition with almost 0 fret wear and has a brand new set of Fat Beams.
The nitro finish is SUPER THIN - so it has rubbed through in a few areas and I have highlighted this in the pictures. This is the only "issue" on this bass.
I upgraded the stock bass with all new CTS and Switchcraft electronics and the Fender reissue pickup as well as new Fender chrome dome knobs, the thumb rest, and the Hipshot tuners and TUSQ nut. The Highway One series features US bodies and necks and mexican hardware, however with the Badass II (stock bridge) and now the Hipshot tuners, everything is American made. I even upgraded the string tree to the US version.
This bass sounds awesome and I can provide sound clips if you want to hear it...
