[SOLD] FT / FS: 07' MIA P-Bass Butterscotch Blonde/Maple

SOLD - to khazol.
Thanks everyone!

Just bought this on TB about a month ago. It's beautiful and in great shape.

I bought this from Big Noise who in turn bought it from JMaestro.

It's the same one from this previous thread here:

FT: 07' P-Bass Butterscotch Blonde/Maple

"Bass is in immaculate condition still with case, strap, all manuals, truss rod tool, new black pickguard, set up with medium DR marcus miller"

I bought it because I've never owned an American made P-Bass before and I thought I'd give it a go.

I currently own, love, and play a G&L ASAT bass and it's really the bass I have come to measure all other instruments to. It has the jazz style neck, huge pickups that give me the amount of output I am looking for.

The Fender felt great in my hands, the construction is solid and on par with the G&L. But the output just wasn't what I wanted it to be. In the end it sounds like a Fender P-Bass and not an active, modern bass.

Lesson learned.

Looking to trade this for another G&L (L-1000, L-2000, another ASAT?)
Much more interested in a trade than a sale.

I am going to just be honest here and tell you I paid 725$ shipped. I would like to get about that much for it if I were to outright sell it. If you think you want to buy it, feel free to make me a reasonable offer.

It's seen about 2 hours of playing time in the month or so that I have had it. It's lived inside of it's bad ass case in a climate controlled environment ever since.

Thanks for your time. I can take new pictures of it myself, it's in my studio space right now. Here's the photo from the original thread.

I was hesitant to sell / trade it on here because it has gone through three of us in a relatively short period of time.

I have to reiterate that it plays and feels great, just not my kind of sound.

Thanks for your kind words

It is an awesome bass, it left my hands a month ago in immaculant condition and I am sure it is still the same way

Bump.

Still sitting on this bass. Would like to sell it soon. I have had some interest but no commitments!

I don't know what the bass weighs. It's much much lighter than my G&L.

Thanks
