FT/FS: 2008 Fender Custom (Shop) Classic V Jazz bass . Price Drop!

Sign in to disble this ad
I'd like to trade my beautiful 2008 three color sunburst Fender Custom (Shop) Classic 5 string bass. I hope the pics translate as well as this bass looks in person. The cosmetic condition is a 9.5 out of 10. It weighs around 9.5 lbs. It is has an alder body and an unbound maple neck and fretboard with real white shell blocks. It comes with case candy and original C&G case in overall good condition except for a small crack on one of the lower edges of the case. The action can be set utlra low if desired with no fret buzz and the sound is that of a great refined Jazz bass.
Trade Bait:
4 string jazz style bass with rosewood fingerboard 60's spacing of similar value
5 String Custom Shop Reggie Hamilton
4 string PJ style bass of similar value
Lakland USA Decade or Jazz with CS pups

Many of you have been asking for a sale price so here goes! First $1950, $1850 now $1799 plus shipping takes it!

Yeah. I took these last night after having buffed this bass and given it some much deserved tlc. She plays amazing. I'm convincing my self to keep it it looks so good! LOL!

By popular demand I have posted a sale price on the 1st post of this thread. $1950 plus shipping. I think I've responded to everyone's PM but let me know in case I inadvertantly missed someone. Thanks.

Is the preamp the "standard" Fender preamp as in the ones in the same era J and P Deluxe basses?
