I picked up this inexpensive RAL fretless P/J bass to see if a 4 string fretless might work. Seems to be OK, I just have this issue with 2 volume knobs I cant seem to deal with, so....
This is one of the evil bay specials that has the fret dots on the top of the neck that are mis-placed. A bit of white out and that problem is solved...

I'm not sure about the stand... these are the pics from the listing I bought it from on the bay... I'd like to have one though, pretty cool, huh?!?!
Anyway, there was another picture with the full body to see headstock, etc...

The sound is really pretty good, nice mwah for the fretless... My personal choice (if I kept it) would be to put some flats on it to bring out that old-school vibe and keep the neck in shape better. It currently has rounds on it, which in time I'm sure will show wear on the neck. I dont have any way to record sound clips, and in fact I've only played the thing about 10 minutes total. As I said, it is a good entry level instrument, or club throw-down when you dont want to take a pricey bass to a club gig.
