FT/FS '81 Gibson Victory

Ok I could quite possibly decide that this may be a bad decision, but we'll see. I have a 1981 silver Gibson victory. I absolutely love the look and feel of this bass. You can really get some awesome tone out of this thing. It is not in mint condition but honestly in my opinion I like the look of some chipped paint on these vintage basses. I only really play 5 strings these days so I dont have a ton of use for it anymore. I'll get some more pictures posted when I get home. This is the only one I've got for now.

Trades considered would only be 5 strings. 500 shipped.

Looks like a silver Victory Standard with yellowed clearcoat. Victory basses are awesome.

More info on the Victory basses here.

Sorry, I read somewhere that it was a seafoam green. It is Silver. Also I forgot that the series/parallel switch only works in the parallel position (I think it's parallel). I've never minded, I actually kinda liked using the series option as a killswitch. Also whoever the original owner was added an xlr out which does not work. Because of these things I'll drop the price down to $500 shipped. These are pretty simple fixes if you really want them done. I never cared at all.

This thing came up at exactly the wrong time for me, but I do have a question about it: are only the D and G string playable up to the 24th fret? From the pictures it looks like the G string is playable, but the D is questionable.

Yes you can play the 24th on the d. Just don't bend it haha.

I had one of these for a while. Hands down one of the heaviest basses I've ever had.
