Getting the itch to try something new again. With my self-imposed bass quota - I need to sell or trade a bass to get another bass.
Putting up for potential trade / possile sale - an incredibly beautiful Bee Stinger 4 bass! I believe Fred Bolton was going to use this at a NAMM show a few years ago - and I was able to talk him out of it and selling it to me!
Here's a breakdown of materials used..
Woods:
top- quilt maple
body- papua new guinea walnut
neck- rock maple
fingerboard- acrylized purpleheart
Has has the Bee preamp and Delano pickup. Electronics include volume, passive tone control, high, mid, low. You'll find each EQ control has a HUGE range of tone variance.
The bass is light (at or slightly under 8 pounds). I believe the nut is a P-bass width. Comes in the nice gig bag that Fred includes with his basses.
