EDIT: see price drop below.
This is a cut or two above the stock Carvin sixer. The Walnut really adds focus to the bottom end, and the Bartolini preamp adds great clarity and flexibility to the punchy stock single coils. A tung-oil finish helps make this the easiest and fastest playing six-string neck I've had my hands on. Strung with D'addario Half-Rounds, which allow for a nice, low setup. Some minor player wear, swirls and such, but nothing major, no nicks or dings on the neck. Electronics and truss rod are great, no issues whatsoever.
Specs:
Carvin LB76 (34" scale)
Walnut wings
Sperzel locking tuners (gold)
Maple neck-through
Ebony fingerboard
Wilkenson Adjustable bridge (black/gold)
Carvin J99 p-ups
Bartolini NTMB 3-band 18v pre with sweepable mids
Tung oil hand-rubbed finish
Hardshell Carvin case
All in all an amazing instrument with a punchy, warm modern tone.
I'd trade for a comparable valued 4 string; I like active jazz-style basses, I'm still looking for a good ol' P-bass, or a G&L L1K. Feel free to run anything else by me.
Cash sale: $800 now $700 (found something I'd like to pick up locally) CONUS, no international sales on this one.
More pics here.
Thanks!

The Wilkenson bridge is currently set up as tight as it goes, which is 16mm at the bridge. It can go wider. I can't find specs on the web but it looks like it could go to 17 pretty easily. The first pic up top shows how much room is left to move the saddles. The neck is 2" wide at the nut.
At this time the bass is still available, with a couple of cool trade offers on the table.

| | | | the Carvin 6 string LB model can only take a spacing of 17mm or lower, actually all Carvin 6 strings can't reach 19mm, which bothers me cause thats what I want =[
Carvin is the best tho, I am sticking to 5 strings and ordering up a LB75 soon. |

A sixer with full 19mm spacing would be a real bear, you should just buy this one! Seriously, and pardon my ignorance, but are there many mass-produced 19mm six strings? I've seen Chuck Rainey with a custom Spector that was, that's about it. |

| | | | well I just had a XB76P that I bought recently, basically same thing as this, even had walnut top too, but it didnt work for me because the spacing. Just clarifying for other people though, theres no Carvin 6 string with 19mm, only 17 or lower.
Think im gonna stick with 5 strings for now, love my Carvin 5 string and ordering another soon. |

Just to be clear, I never claimed (nor did anyone on this thread) that this bass could have a 19mm string spacing, so I'm not sure why you are posting this here. I go back and forth between this bass and a 19mm 5-string easily, like anything else we do on the bass, all it takes is a little practice.
Thanks for your kind words about Carvins in general. |

Looks to be in great shape for a bass around 17-18 years old.
Bump for another sharp looking Carvin!
