I hate to do this, but A.) I have way too much gear, and B.) I don't play many short-scale basses. So, up for grabs is this killer - killer! - Tom Clement 4-string bass. The body is a solid piece of stunning flamed Bastogne walnut. The neck is made of mahogany and wenge, and the fingerboard is bloodwood. It has a 24-fret neck with zero fret, 30" scale, Hipshot Ultralite tuners, Hipshot A-style bridge, Schaller straplocks, EMG 35TW pickup with 18V EMG BTS preamp. Strung with DR Hi Beams. It's in a new, heavy-duty Roadrunner gigbag, and weighs 7.6 lbs.
Here are the pics:
Here are some shots from Tom showing how this was cut out of that block of walnut (I really like these photos!):
In all honesty, I am not super motivated to sell this bass, and I've been wrestling with this idea for some time. But, I'm trying to do a little house cleaning, so I'll be putting a number of items up for sale here.
I'm asking $sold plus shipping for this beauty. Cash preferred, but trades considered.
Tom.
