FT/FS: EBMM Sterling Classic, Vintage White and Birdseye Maple

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for your consideration is my beautiful EBMM Sterling Classic, in Vintage White with a Birdseye Maple neck. It's in mint condition with absolutely NO dents or dings.

I bought this beauty from fellow TB'er LSU921 here. With his kind permission, I'm using the photos that he took of it below. It pains me to let her go, but I find that I much prefer the Stingray neck.

This Classic has the 2 band EQ, slab body, foam mutes, string-through body, and a gorgeous gloss figured birdseye maple neck. If you've not played a Sterling, it's a J type neck and plays very fast. It weighs 9 pounds and has the EBMM OHSC. And as mentioned earlier, it's in mint condition.

I would prefer a trade over a sale. I'm interested in the following models in mint or near mint condition:

Stingray Classic in Vintage White with Birdseye Maple
Stingray Classic in other colors with Birdseye Maple
Stingray 30th Anniversary LE
Stingray Dargie Delight 2
Stingray LE BFR Roasted w/ebony board- H config preferred
Stingray Stealth w/ebony board - H config preferred
Big Al Dargie Delight 2
Bongo -- 4 HS preferred, no blue pearl or sapphire back please
Other unique EBMM models

For the right instrument, I would be open to adding a small amount of cash.

As stated I would prefer a trade; however, I would be open to a cash sale for $1,325 shipped CONUS only. This is what I paid for it last month.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Here's pics, courtesy of LSU921:

Bump. I bought lsu921's other Classic Sterling (tobacco burst) last week, gigged with it Sunday evening, and absolutely love it.

Thank you much for the interest. Presently, I am in good shape as far as audio gear however.

Thanks again.

Going to bump again. After playing with my Classic Sterling all weekend, I'm just blown away.

Thanks, Soxhats. These are fantastic instruments; I won't be upset if I end up keeping her. :-)
