I just can't make up my mind. I love this bass in many ways but recent possible trades offers and other options made me realize I'm not as attached as I thought. So, I'm putting out a feeler to see what is available.
My SB4000 is the passive model with the new J99a pups, alder body and ebony board. All black hardware, matching headstock with black logo. In like new condition. I've only had for a few months and only used for practice and one benefit show.
The bass simply has an excellent passive jazz tone. High quality custom US bass with what has to be the best neck I've have seen or played. The only thing I can say bad about it is that I would strongly prefer a 60s style pup placement. Played a few 60s RI and the Roadworn and have been completely blown away.
Comes with the OHSC and two pickguards (black and tort). Currently strung with black beauties but will string back up with Rotos.
Set a sale price at $650 plus shipping.
