FT/FS feeler Fender Mustang Reissue CIJ
Shopping my Fender Mustang out to see what kind of trade offers I can get.
It's in good condition. The neck is straight, the truss rod works, frets are fine, and it sets up and plays nice with low action. There is one ding on the heel that chipped off some paint, and there are a few light dents on the back of the neck. The dents are unnoticable while playing, but they are there. I also added a thumbrest.
It comes with a Fender hardshell case, also in solid condition, aside from the interior strap being broken. These models didn't come with one, and new cases cost $150+.
I'd really like to do a local trade or sale, but may ship for the right trade or if there is no local interest. Thinking trade value/selling price would be around $550 and am interested in the following:
American P neck
Nice fretless P neck
Japanese Fender P basses
Sunn amps and cabs
Ampeg amps and cabs
I am not interested in MIM necks or basses. Thanks.
Can u confirm the uyear and origin of it ? Pm me the serial
It's "Crafted in Japan". Serial # starts with a R so according to the Fender website, it's either 2004 or 2005.
From the Fender website:
In 1997, Fender transitioned to a serial number decal that included the words “Crafted in Japan” above the serial number.

Any interest in a Fender Geddy Lee neck (with or without tuners) + cash or a MusicMan Sub Sterling (USA made version of the EBMM Sterling)?
interested in a modern player jazz? lol
Sorry, more of a p guy. ;)
Is that a "short" scale bass ?
Yes. It's a 30" scale and the nut is 1.5" wide.
