Ok, here's the deal. I am putting this bass out there to see what interest there is for either a trade (preferred), or a straight sale.
This is a very clean and beautiful Lakland 44-02 Deluxe fretless in Sunburst finish over a quilted maple top. The neck is half sawn rock maple with an lined ebony (real) fretboard.
The pups are Barts, and I believe that the 3 band active/passive electronics package is also Bartolini made.
I am the second owner, so this bass has definitely been played/gigged but this bass has been well taken care of and is in top shape with no serious cosmetic, mechanical/structural or electrical issues. It does have some finish swirls as you would expect from a bass of this age. It is currently strung with TI Jazz Rounds and sounds great.
Why am I selling it ? - I have determined that I am really a Fender guy, and while the bridge pu on this bass gives a nice Jazz bridge pu tone, the other settings (Music Man oriented) just don't appeal.
So, for trade I am pretty much looking for a US Jazz fretless. I might consider a MIM Jazz fretless, but that would require cash to me in the deal.
For sale, lets say $750 to start the conversation (buyer pays shipping).
let me know.
