Feeler thread, looking to pare down to two instruments that will meet all my needs. Need a fretless, not just any old fretless, but a Pedulla fretless. Want to trade my very, very sweet Mike Lull P4 with a J spec neck for a decent Pedulla Buzz (4 string).
Skinny on the Lull: It is a real nice P style bass, maple/rosewood neck with 1.5 inch bone nut, alder body, excellent 3 tone sunburst finish, all Hipshot hardware, 19mm bridge spacing, Fralin P pickup, and light, about 7.5 lbs. Comes with G&G HS case, certificate of authenticity. Purchased recently here on TB. There is nothing wrong with the bass, plays extremely fast with awesome neck profile, superior fret work as you would expect from Lull. Cosmetically 9.5/10
My requirements for the Pedulla Buzz in trade are that the bass is structurally sound and has a working preamp. P/J or J/J pickup configuration preferred. OK if somewhat challenged cosmetically, and OK if the fingerboard needs a re-coat of polyester.
If I can't score a Buzz Bass, I will accept $1700 for the Lull, shipped to continental USA only. Link to previous thread below:
