This is my fender jazz deluxe 5 USA. It plays really good with low action and no fret buzz, and a straight neck. This thing really cuts thru the mix. I like more of a modern sound nowadays so Im wanting to trade for something. It definitely is a player and has some mojo. The worst being the back which has about 6-7 inches of finish worn off in the contour on the back with alot of other scratches on the back. The front is actually in really nice shape with only one light ding that I could find. The headstock also has dings on the edges, again mostly on the back of it. There was also an extra strap button hole drilled on the upper horn for some reason (I never worrited about it).It has the 3 band preamp in it and comes with the original Deluxe case and case candy including the original truss rod tool. I will just keep it if nothing comes through that I want because it really does sound great. Im only interested in 5 string active basses. Let me know what you have. Want to think about this for a trade. its a Ksd in GREAT condition, with a John east preamp! I actually got it here on TB. here is the orig description from the seller I got it from here. Add to it a JOHN-EAST PREAMP vs the Audere JZ6D preamp which it came with.
This KSD705 has the ash/maple combo with terrific sounding Nordstrsnd NJ5FS pups and Audere JZ6D preamp. I've been impressed with the sound and the solid build quality of this bass. Currently sporting a solid black pickguard. The previous owner did a great job on the mods IMO, added the Lakland bridge and reshaped the headstock. Specs below.
