FT/FS: FENDER AMERICAN STANDARD JAZZ V 2008 SOLD

Sign in to disble this ad
I sold this bass here awhile back, but the buyer backed out and never payed. So, again up for grabs in an mint condition Maple neck, Am. Stan. '08 Jazz V with aftermarket black guard. OEM white guard included. Fantastic player with great B string. Comes with OHSC and bag of case candy, tags, etc. Fresh set of nickel rounds installed. The pick guard shows some player wear.

From Fender site:

The new American Standard Jazz five-string basses feature our new high-mass vintage bridge, a thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance, new and improved Fender tuning keys that keep the classic look but are 30 percent lighter, a richer and deeper neck tint for a more elegant appearance, a great-looking glossed maple or rosewood fingerboard and satin back for smooth playability, and a new Fender-exclusive SKB molded case.

Trade for an American Standard P bass or -

out right sale price: SOLD shipped, paypal, lower 48 only.

That's an alder body, right? Does it sound closer to an ash/maple 70's vibe or the more typical alder/rw thing?

Alder body.

I'd say it sounds in between the two you mentioned.

Very nice bass but I believe the 08' AmStd Jazz 5 is a 22 fret model. I could be wrong but just throwing that out there.
