FT / FS - Fender US Jazz - with S-1 Switch - Black'n Maple with SoundSample!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Guys, i'm Selling or Trading this really cool Fender Jazz - just like the one of Chris Wolstenholme of MUSE in there new video Undisclosed Desires -

bought in 2004, Maple board, with the S-1 Switch, which i kinda like on this one!

i made a lot of road and studio with it... so it have pretty good dings and scratches, and i've putted a pretty cool Thumb rest, made by myself, from a piece of Oak, that i've painted.... i based it from the cheap fender plastic thumb-rest and drilled it in the bass...

just doesn't get enough time playing these days... got 2 others cool Jazz bass... from different manufacturer...

and mostly need a P-Bass...

That's why i'd be willing to Trade this one for a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub... and maybe some aguilar stuff, already have AG500, db750 a pair of gs112 and gs410... i'd go with some DB112, GS412 AG500 or AG500sc offer, we'll discuss cash and shipping depend on the offer...

if you want to buy that will be yours for 900$ Shipped!
here the adresse of the SoundSample:
http://www.4shared.com/file/14428183...r_Jazz_US.html

@ 0.39 you can hear the S-1 Switch kicks in...
@ 0.51 i'm playing palm-muted with tone rolled OFF
@ 0.57 i'm playing the same lick with tone rolled full on...

here's the Pics:

Good sounding jazz man, and nice licks too. I'm a string junkie what were you using in the clips?

I don't think I'll own another jazz without a series switch. I've been spoiled by my S-1 equipped Fender Hot Rod. In fact, I never play it in parallel.

Best of luck to ya.

thanks man for your input!

i'm planning to put a switch in my lakland too :P
didn't work well at all on the p-bass but for the Jazz bass that was a great idea IMO

And Mdrak:
these are just old simple D'Addarios XL roundwound... thanks for the comments!

For those who never used the S-1 switch. I had 3 Jazz and only kept the one with the S-1 switch. I normally have it off but when doing a "When A Man Loves A Woman" type song or when I need to be loud i just hit the S-1. Like a loud P bass.
