I got this in a trade to check it out (I do this a lot) and it is a very nice bass, but it isn't what I need right now.
Made a new post, because I had made a mistake in the title.
I'd like to sell it local or shipped on buyer's expenses, but I'm open to trades too.
$250 paypal'ed and shipped gets it or I can trade, preferrably, for one of the following:
- Hagstrom HB-8 or any other 8-string, octave type bass
- Epiphone EB-3
- SUB or OLP 5-string Ray (maple fretboard)
- Squier VM Telecaster bass (the new one) in vintage blonde
- Any maple fretboard Squier P-bass, like the Freeman, or the black & maple Squier Mustang
- I'm looking for an octaver, so I could do that plus cash
I'll give thought to any trade proposal. Pedals, amps (no cabs though), whatever!
The bass is in great shape. Has a thin scratch on the back and a chip on the back of the headstock, both shown in the pics, as well as time-marks. On the positive side, it has very nice sound, what with the active pre-amp and all, it is beautiful -flamed maple top, abalone binding-, very light for its size, basswood body and the neck plays like butter, plus it has 24 full frets. Comes with a nice TKL gig bag.
