FT/FS KOA Carvin LB-75

OK, I had this posted a few months ago, got several good responses and failed in my attempt to raise the extra $$ to complete a really sweet trade so here it is again.

LB-75:
**KOA*** bodysides-this one seems lighter than a lot of the koa I see these days. I've always called it "honey gold"
maple neck thru
ebony fingerboard
black hardware: Sperzel locking tuners
Wilkinson bridge
2 band EQ
H50S stacked humbucker J-style pickups

I added a DiMarzio clip-strap. I do NOT have the original strap buttons.

This is a 1993 bass which explains the bridge, tuners and 2 band EQ. I am also the original owner.

I also have the OHSC, truss rod tool and some of the original paperwork. There is a major scratch across the top of the case but its perfectly functional. I do not have the keys but all the latches work.

Its a 34" scale and weighs in at about 8.8 lbs.

As far as trades, I'm looking for a good amp head since my 19 yr old Crate is finally showing its age.

I'm looking for at least 250 watts/4 ohms.
I will also consider a combo if it can accept an extension cab. if its a combo, I'd prefer a 2x10.
I will consider all brands except Behringer because I have not heard enough positives about the brand.

As far as the "for sale" side of the deal, I'm thinking $600 OBO

I've attached a couple of pics but I dont know how good they're going to come out. I can email the fullsized pics if anyone wants them.

So lets see what good reliable amps are out there looking for a good home!!!

What's the string spacing?
And how does the B ring?

Thanks and Bump!

Sound-wise, IMO I dont notice any difference in output on the B. Its not muddy that I can tell.

As far as string spacing, I'll have to check on that tonight after soccer game #2 on the day for my 10 year old.

I'll try to get the measurements at the nut and at the bridge.

OMG, what a couple of days.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Part of the problem is that I cannot find a metric ruler around the house.
I can tell you from outside string edge to outside string edge, its 1.5" total at the nut and approximately 2 5/8" at the bridge. It looks to be about 11/16" string-to-string at the bridge.

I hope this is helpful.

Just trying to keep everyone in the loop. I have 5 trade offers and now a possible purchaser has contacted me. The plus for me with the potential buyer is that he's local.

I'll be staying in touch and thanks for all the patience.
