There are only a few of these in existence. I am still not sure I want to do it but figured I would throw the feeler out there. The bass has an ash body with a GORGEOUS Buckeye Burl top. 35" scale rosewood board with birds-eye maple dots. Lakland Pickups and preamp. Right at 9lbs or a little under. Lightweight and plays like butter!
The bass is totally mint and comes with a brand spankin' new cream Lakland hard case and case candy.
Trades: I am mostly interested in other boutique 5 stringers like Sadowsky, Nordy and maybe Alleva Coppolo. 34" scale 19mm spacing. I am also looking for an early to mid 90's Stingray 5.
For an outright sale $2800.

I like the rosewood better.

Yes, I will probably regret it...This is my 3rd Lakland. I have liked them all and end up getting them again and again. Maybe I will learn my lesson some day!

I spent a good bit of time playing it over the past couple of days. It is killer, for sure. Unless something comes up that I just cannot refuse...I may just hold on to it.

Wow, that was yours? What were you thinking when you sold
it? I assume it was to fund some of the other stuff you brought the other day to heavychevy's place. Or so I hope.
If it was a 4, I would pawn a family member for it.
Rodney, all I can say is you'll be sorry ...

Rodney, all I can say is you'll be sorry ... | The only reason why I got rid of it was because of the rosewood fingerboard. I replaced it with the maple fingerboard blonde Lakland you saw at the GTG. I have found that over the years I have become more of a maple person. Otherwise I would have kept the bass. It is an awesome bass. Whom ever buys this will be getting a very special Lakland.

The beer was too distracting, hehe.
I am partial to maple as well.
