Well I hate to do this but it isn't getting the playing time it deserves and I really need to move it. When I got this I was playing R&B and Jazz and now I am on the road pretty much full time with a country/rock group. I don't ever use the extra 2 strings now. This bass is absolutely amazing...I get the whole LEJ thing now and am in the process of having Brian build me a LET. This bass cuts through a mix like no other. Sounds amazing. and plays great. The neck is surprisingly great feeling. I went from a 5 string to this with no issues at all. I am very surprised at the playability of this bass.
Not sure about the year this was built I did buy this from Brian at The Low End. Has the Low End Preamp with Volume Volume master tone and stacked bass and treble. Push Pull series/parallel and active passive. Black, Black Pickguard, Black Blocks and Binding, brass nut. Does have a few scratches on it. None on the front just on the very top and a little bit of rash on the back all in the pictures. nothing is all the way through the finish just through the clear coat. I didn't have good lighting when I took the pictures and the swirls on the front are just smudges I need to wipe off I didn't realize how smudged it was when I took them.
