***The absolute last day I can ship is this coming Monday (the 10th). If you've been holding off on making an offer then do so now because it won't be going anywhere for a few months after then. These Squiers don't pop up too often so get yours today!***
Hey guys,
I have a few basses I'm looking to either sell or trade. I'd like to keep all deals local to avoid shipping costs, but I am willing to drive an hour in any direction from Memphis or Knoxville to meet up with someone. If you're not local, however, and would still like one of the basses, then shoot me a PM and I'll try to work something out with you.
**EDIT** After a huge influx of PMs, I have discovered that there are two very important points I forgot to mention in the OP that I'll address here.
1. I won't ship international. Sorry guys.
2. Again, I'd much rather all transactions be local. As such, I'm going to ask any buyer who isn't local to either pay or split shipping costs with me.
As far as trades are concerned, I'm currently looking for pedals, powered boards, power supplies, and other things along those lines. Here are somethings I'd specifically be interested in:
- Big Muff (Russian Black)
- Boss ODB-3
- Boss LS-2
- VL PP2
- TC Nova Delay
- Sansamp GT2
- Volume Pedal
1. Yamaha RBX775 (5 string) - [
B]$180 shipped[/b] Great sound, super low action, and very well built. That said, it's a bit beat up, but it would make a great starter or backup bass for anyone needing a 5er for cheap. Sold!
2. Squier VM Fretless Jazz -
$215 Shipped and Insured This bass is great for the beginner to intermediate level fretless player. It really nails the Jaco sound, and it weighs in at only 8lbs! Don't let the Squier name fool you - this bass is great!
3. Epiphone Viola -
$230 Strung with a set of Pyramid Flats, this bass has a great Beatles/early vintage tone. It's also really lightweight, and it has a look that is sure to turn heads! I've decided that I like this bass too much to give it up
4. Sterling by MusicMan Ray34 -
$500 Basically mint condition. I bought this as a backup to my US StingRay, but don't need it anymore. If you want a StingRay for a third of the price then this is what you want! It sounds identical to my US Ray
Gone! Thanks Jeff!
5. Warwick Corvette Std 5 (passive) -
Made in Germany, this is one of finest jazz styled basses that I have ever played. With a swamp ash body, this bass has a very burpy, yet punchy and defined tone. The B string is fantastic, and the neck is very comfortable. Comes with Rock Bag and bees wax. I'm gonna hold on to this one for now, too.
PM me if you have any questions!
Thanks for the look!
James M.
