My number 1 bass is on the block.
this bass kills! Its been my number one since I bought it almost a year ago.

Specs.
#38 VJ5
34.5" scale
9.5lb range. (Im thinking a hair less)
Brazilian rosewood fingerboard (No longer offerd)
Blocks & Binding
Maple neck
Alder body
Oly white
Tort and Pearl white PG's
Fat stack pickups
Audere JZ3 pre

Primary trade interest is a 55-94 preferably from pre 2000. Also an MTD 535 would fit my fancy. Im willing to toss cash at the right bass.

Disclosure. this bass is in fantastic shape save for one thing.
Normal swiring on the PG.
It got a bad ding before I bought it that was repaired at the Nordstrand shop. Even repaired theres a scar spot. Also there is a minor hairline paint crack by the heal.

Neither Of these have been a problem in the year I've played it. The hairline paint crack has not chipped or gotten worse.
I've never noticed either of these, there both in hidden areas, after the first week of owning it, I forgot they were there.

needless to say the price relects the 2 damage spots. This bass new would cost well over 4k assuming you could even get brazil rosewood.

the two damage spots. Edit: sorry I had trouble getting it to show up in the pictures.
Also a knob snapped off on the pre amp. It got bent somehow and my mornonic self tryed to straiten it and broke it off. I will have a replacment pre before sale.

It certainly does. I put a fresh setup on it earlier so it pretty much plays itself
