I'm doing this for real now. I love how this bass plays, but it's not working out for the genres I play in. I'm trying to keep things down to the bare minimum that I need. I'd like to keep this bass, but I can't afford to, and I really want a Sadowsky J bass. I need to have money for other things, so saving up for that in addition to this is not possible, and takes away from my vital college beer fund.
I paid $1800 for it, and put about $150 into it... I would take $1900 shipped via paypal echeck.
I'm looking for a 5 or 4 string sadowsky jazz bass or hybrid precision/jazz with VTC. I'd prefer a maple fretboard, but I do love the rosewood/morado/what have you with oly white
. I might consider trading up to an NYC PJ5 also... for jazz basses, I'd like to get a little cash (A hundred or two depending on condition) but we can discuss stuff.
I had the VTC added by the best pros in the area, so it's installed fine. I also put on Dunlop strap locks (ala NYC sadowsky basses). It comes with a sadowsky soft/hard case that is really nice.
Anyway here are the pictures!
All these pictures are pre-VTC install, so you can't see the stacked knobs.
The bass is in flawless condition, I can't find a scratch on it.
