Does the preamp have to be wired 18V? Couldn't you 'tame' it down by simply wiring it for 9V? You could even wire the batteries in parallel and not have to worry about changing them for quite awhile. Anyways, beautiful finish on this baby. Wish I had the cash.

is the preamp the OBP 1 or the OBP 2? I believe the OBP 2 can be wired as 9 or 18 volt. FYI

Nice bass by the way. I have always wanted to try one, but just bought a bass.

BUMP....All PM's Returned!!!! Some really killer trade offers. I think after receiving the Yamaha 5 string from Greg I have been converted and will only be looking for 5 strings for trade on this!!!! Unless a killer 4 banger comes along that I can't refuse......
