*** TRADED !!! ***
What I have is the discontinued Steinberger Spirit Bass that is like the XQ series - full body, 5 strings. This one has a fireburst finish (PICS BELOW!!), maple neck with rosewood fretboard.
Originally these came with passive pickups (EMG Select) - as I bought it, it had been upgraded with active EMG's and an 18v supply. Controls are V V T.
This will also come with a string adapter that allows you to use any strings you want, not just the double ball end type. I'll also include the flats that were loaded on the string adapter when I bought the bass (it currently has Steinberger/LaBella roundwounds on it.)
Everything on the bass works great, no scatchy pots, decent mid action - it came pretty low with the flats on, I raised it a bit to my taste when I put the roundwounds on - no problem adjusting the truss rod. Aside from a couple small dings on the side/bottom near the controls (nothing through the finish) the bass looks in great shape.
It has Schaller strap locks installed - I will include the strap ends. Also comes with the original gig bag.
For trade, I'd be interested in a Lakland Skyline 55-01 or a G&L Tribute L2500 (either must have maple boards, as far as body color, hit me up!) I'd also be interested in a Hohner Steinberger paddle bodyshape (B2A V) - 5 string. Maybe even a Spirit model (XT 5 string).
For straight sale, looking for $475 shipped Con US (only)
Let me know if you're interested and what you've got!

Thanks for asking! |

Thanks for asking! | Dang. Are you sure about that? Is that even possible on a 5 string? |

I know this bass isn't for everyone, but it certainly has it's niche. |

The bass came with flats on it, I left them loaded in the adaptor end, in case some one wants to use them. But you can also put any string of your choosing into the adaptor.... |
