FT/FSIbanez RD500 Roadgear Four string $300.00

Ibanez RD500 four string with MM/jazz pickups and a cool two band preamp with interesting coil switching built right into the volume and pan pots. Very good condition and no issues. I have owned five different Musicman basses and this is a very good approximation of a Stingray or a Sterling. I will take trade offers for jazz style basses and Yamaha BB series basses.

I think the RD500 is a wonderful bass... I have the Blackberry Sunburst colored one. I also own a ATK300 & 305. You indicated that the RD500 is a approximation of a Stingray/Sterling, But I have yet to get it to sound anything close to the two of them.. How do you do it????

Sorry, I traded this away a while back and should have closed the thread. To answer your question though; I have owned a Sterling and two SR5's and thought that the RD500 with the bridge pickup solod and the coil selector in the down position approximated those tones nicely.
