I'm putting up for trade my Highway One Jazz Bass. After much buying and selling of bass I have realized the basses I'm most comfortable with are short scale basses. I've been through so may (Tobias Growler, EB Sterling, American P-Bass), but none felt right. After playing my new Mustang, I've realized I should be playing Short Scale Basses. I would like to trade my Jazz for a Hofner Contemporary Club or Violin Bass.
I have upgraded this bass a bit. I've added a Set of DiMarzio Area J pickups (completely noiseless with the tone of a single coil), got rid of the "Grease Bucket" tone circuit and replaced it with an Orange Drop. I've also added treble bleeds on each volume, so when you turn the volume down the high end stays in tact (also Orange Drops), and I've added a Warmoth Vintage Pearl Pickguard (it's a bit darker than it shows in the picture). I have a black G&G case with orange lining that I will include. The bass is in very good condition. There is some wear on the arm contour, but nothing is to the wood or even through the topcoat.
I'm not looking to sell, I'm only interested in trades.
For a Sale lets say $550obo plus shipping (Including HSC). And since our neighbors to the north have bought most of the gear I have put up here I'll ship to Canada as well.
Now for the pics
