FT: Ibanez ATK 300 for passive jazz

Hey folks,

I am putting my Late 90s Ibanez 4 string ATK up for TRADE ONLY. It is in great condition for being an older bass. All electronics work perfectly and it sounds real punchy like all the ATKs. It plays well. The action is a hair high as it needs a truss adjustment...which I can do or I can let you set it up how you want it. NO CASE.

It has a few small issues that don't affect playability. I will describe them in detail so there is no confusion.
1) A couple small dents in the neck...a little smaller than a staple and not deep...You can see them in the (bad sorry) pictures.
2) The volume knob has some chipping of the chrome finish.
3) The strap peg on the upper horn was reset so there is a hole left there.
4) The pickguard is kind of swelling up a little....I don't quite know how to describe it but it is raised up off the body a hair at the center....

These are all pretty minor things and as you can see the bass is in pretty darn good condition for its age. I have two of these and this one just sits around so its time to trade.

(You can read about why I have 2 here:
Best and Worst Pawn Stories post #93)

I am not sure how much the bass weighs and I don't have a scale but it is on the heavier side like all atks

WHAT I WANT: A passive jazz style bass that i can slap some flats on. I'm thinking of a MIM or MIJ fender. I am not interested in Squiers unless it is one of those newer CVs (no squier hate just don't like the feel of them usually). I could also be interested in another make jazz if it piques my interest. I'm not too worried about paint chips or normal wear but I wantr a bass that plays well and sounds good.

I don't have any kind of rep here on Talkbass cause I have never traded or bought a bass but I am an honest solid guy. I will not do a trade without a phone call and some personal info!
