I have got a jones for a T-40. I owned a sunburst model back in the 80's and nostalgia is getting the better of me. I have a 1981 Ibanez Roadster in black that I can swap. It has 24 frets, pickups upgraded to active EMG's. Tonally it is extemely versatile, big fat P sound, to a nice Jazz burp. And when blended the tone is round and wonderful, with plenty of top end. 1 1/2" at nut. Nice playing weight at around 9 lbs. The action is very close and comfy, and it never needs a truss tweak. The frets are shiny and very level.
