As far as I know, I'm the third owner of this one. It's been traded back and forth between two guys and I finally put my hands on it. I have never been an Ibanez fan...never. Nothing wrong with them; just not my style. But this bass...well, it reached out and grabbed me. I mean...look at it! Plus the Barts, the tone, the neck...this thing really is a great bass. But alas...still doesn't really "fit" me.
SO here's a little info about it stolen from hawk...
The limited-run, only 150 imported into the USA, SR655PB has a 5-piece SR5 wenge/bubinga neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard that features classy abalone oval inlays. Its mahogany body has a poplar burl top and glossy finish for an incredibly attractive piece of natural artwork. Providing its impeccable low-end sound are two MK1-5 pickups, a MK1 3-band EQ, and an Accu-cast B20 bridge for easier string changes.

Truss rod smooth as butter and works fine. Pro-setup, you might not need to touch it. Unless you slap alot. Plastic is still on rod cover.
String height is 1/16 AND 3/32 at 12th fret. No buzz, ANYWHERE.
Trade value is around $900.
I'm looking for other 5 strings, BUT I will consider a 4 or 6 string as well. A USA Cirrus would do it. EBMM Stringray would do it. Maybe a bongo. I'm not looking to add cash to anything since I'm broke.
