FS: JC Custom Buckeye Burl SC $550+ Burl Top Warmoth Jazz w/Moses neck $700

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, the wife has made it abundantly clear that since I am now gigging primarily as a keyboardist I really must scale down to just one bass, to use for my occasional BBQ cookoff gigs

That said, I would like to work out some sort of trade for the following two basses:

1) JC Custom Buckeye Burl 5 string single cut - original seller thread at FT: JC Custom Buckeye Burl 5 string single cut $550 shipped

2) Burl Top Warmoth Jazz w/Moses neck - original seller thread at Burl Top Warmoth Jazz with Moses Neck $700 shipped

Both come in the cases I received them in, and are in the same condition as listed in the above ads. Only difference is that I fixed the nut on the Warmoth so that the E string no longer pops out.

Aside from selling, I'm looking to trade both (+at most $300 on my end, if necessary) and pay for all shipping costs for something along the lines of a Sadowsky MV-5 or RV-5. Used to have an RV-5, and absolutely loved it. Should never have traded it off, but I digress. Laklands also considered. Main thing is I want one 5-stringer with a defined B that is versatile. And it prevents me from having any more GAS. That said, I'm all ears...

I remember drooling over that jazz when it was first listed. That fretboard is outstanding!

Interested in the Warmoth Jazz if you decide to separate the bass deal.

Just letting you know "thanks for the trade offer" but I'm not really into Ibbys.

That has to be just about one of the coolest looking Jazz basses ever.

That JC has seen more than a few TBers since it's birth, and that's a killer deal on a bass that used to live with me. :-)
